Kombolcha Textile Share Company is a well-established integrated textile mill that was founded in 1986. It is strategically located in the south Wollo Administrative Zone at Kombolcha Metropolitan City, approximately 380 kilometers north of the capital city, Addis Ababa, and about 525 kilometers from the port of Djibouti. The company specializes in producing high-quality 100% cotton and various blended fiber yarns and fabrics, supplying its diverse range of products to both local and foreign customers. Additionally, it has created substantial employment opportunities for an average of around 1,400 employees within the community.
